• A little rain won’t stop the sightseeing! An umbrella-toting Owen Wilson strolled through Paris’s Jardin des Tuileries in a straw hat, white suit and sky blue shirt. The actor escaped the wet weather after a bit, slipping into the gardens’ Jeu de Paume art gallery where he perused the Richard Avedon photography exhibition. The actor then took off in – no, not a private car! – the city’s Metro.

• Vanessa Hudgens, taking a break from her album promotion for a shopping trip in New York’s trendy Intermix boutique.

• First there was a family dinner at a Janesville, Wis., Olive Garden. Then, there was the Old Navy shopping trip! While in her boyfriend’s hometown, Jessica Simpson visited the store with Tony Romo and his mother – and a source says the two ladies went off to pick out clothes for the football star. Simpson bought her beau $90 in clothing, including some madras shorts and T-shirts.

• Diddy, celebrating Missy Elliott’s 37 birthday – her actual birthday was July 1 – with the singer and friends at Marquee in New York. As for Elliott, she arrived a little after 1 a.m. after a dinner at Tao. At the club, the rapper preferred to sit down and soak up the birthday greetings from fans. (Elliott graciously snapped photos with surrounding fans’ camera phones.) The club also presented her with a cake that listed the number of awards she’s won.

• Adam Sandler and Rob Schneider, chatting with patrons as they enjoyed their frozen yogurt at Angelina in West Hollywood.

• Hilary Duff and hockey player boyfriend Mike Comrie, eating breakfast al fresco at Coral Tree Café in Brentwood, Calif. The happy couple sat on the patio, joined by Duff’s dog, Lola. After their meal, they took their coffee to go.

• Christina Aguilera and hubby Jordan Bratman, feting the opening of new Los Angeles nightspot Crown Bar. The singer was sitting on her husband’s lap, sharing a private booth at the star-studded opening. Bratman returned his wife’s affection, wrapping his arms around his wife.

• Also at Crown Bar: Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg, who were among the first of the stars to arrive. The couple was seated at an inside table as they held hands and surveyed the room. Soon, Hilton saw her sister, Paris, who joined them at their table. Other stars celebrating the bar’s opening included Lindsay Lohan (watching as BFF Samantha Ronson deejayed), Lauren Conrad and Terrence Howard.

• Kate Moss, mingling in the VIP balcony while boyfriend Jamie Hince rocked a sold-out and very fashionable crowd – which also included model Agyness Deyn – at New York’s Webster Hall during a show by his band, the Kills. Moss, in head to toe black, chatted with friends at the bar before moving a table to get a better view of the stage.
